Monkey Man Trailer: Dev Patel, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Action

The Monkey Man trailer launched four days ago and became so popular with people. The three reasons for that were Dev Patel, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Action. Man, this trailer almost gives off the vibe of John Wick. But this movie might be deeper than everyone thought. The reason I say that is because they include the story of Lord Hanuman blended with modern-day problems. Poverty, slavery, and superstition are all things I notice in this trailer.

There are so many things that I wanted to tell you about, like the story of the movie, Who is Dev Patel, and whether Monkey Man is a Hollywood or Bollywood movie. all the answers I tell you in this article, stay tuned. the most interesting theory that I have come up with in the last four days.

Monkey Man Trailer

The trailer was amazing. It tells us so many things, but more than that, the whole trailer hides too many things that might give us goosebumps in theaters. The trailer does what a trailer should do; like a fighter trailer, you tell the whole picture in the trailer itself. For me, the Monkey Man trailer will become the best trailer in 2024. The trailer tells about a man, an underground fighter, who fights wearing a white monkey mask. Also, he works in some kind of hotel or lives in slums. Also, the Monkey Man Trailer tells us the story of Lord Hanuman and how he fought with demons. Also, there are so many times I see Dev Patel as a replica of Lord Hanuman.

Also, the cast that hypes me more is Dev Patel, Sobhita Dhulipala, Makarand Deshpande, and Sikandar Kher. And yes, there are more. Adithi Kalkunte, Ashwini Kalsekar, Vipin Sharma, and Pitobsh Tripathi are all from Bollywood, so you might think it’s a Bollywood movie, but no, it’s a Hollywood movie, just like Slumdog Millionaire. Sobhita Dhulipala and other actors are debuting in Monkey Man.

Who is Dev Patel?

Dev Patel is a British actor and director. Monkey Man is their directorial debut for him. Remember Slumdog Millionaire? The lead role is played by Dev Patel. Yes, he is in the main role, the guy who wins money and sits on a hot seat with Anil Kapoor. He has some other movies, like Lion and The Wedding Guest.

Up until now, he was just an actor, and Monkey Man is his first directorial movie. First, when I saw the trailer, I wasn’t able to recognize him. After that, I get more hyped up for the movie after knowing who he is. He is good at acting, and after seeing the trailer, I say he is good at direction too.

Theory

That’s a strong possibility. The whole story is inspired by the life of Lord Hanuman. In between trailers, I heard that “it’s time that you recognize your power.” That’s a direct reference to the Ramayana. Also, the whole trailer goes like this: a kind heart wants to help people; a mother tells him about the Lord Hanuman; he doesn’t know who he is or what he wants.

So, my theory is that the whole story is like the Ramayana. Dev Patel, as Hanuman, sees people in slums like the residence of Lnaka (the ancient one); the demon is Makarand Deshpande; and now he blows the whole empire to save or rescue someone who might be Sobhita Dhulipala.

That’s it. There are numerous thoughts on my mind, but revealing them now could potentially compromise the integrity of the narrative. Therefore, please postpone viewing this until my birthday on April 5, 2024.
