Guntur Kaaram Review: Mahesh Babu is back With Charm

Guntur Kaaram Review: Mahesh Babu is back With Charm

Today, January 12, 2024, four movies were released in one day. Guntur Kaaram, Captain Miller, Hanu Man, and Merry Christmas. First, I wanted to talk about my favorite South Korean superstar, Mahesh Babu, who always saved the worst movie with his performance. In this Guntur Kaaram review, you consider me a fan of Mahesh Babu, but he indeed saved this movie. This movie would not be good without him. The story, screenplay, and direction are not that good. That might be an unpopular opinion, but in this Guntur Kaaram review, you consider me a fan of Mahesh Babu, but he is saved in this movie. Trivikram Srinivas has always made the same kind of movie.

This is my first South Movie Review

More movies like Agnyaathavaasi, Khaleja, Bheemla Nayak, and more all feel the same. There is a catch. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, and A.Aa.—all movies are too good with story, plot, and fights. Trivikram directs all movies. So, I might be a little bit excited about this movie. Again, it feels the same, but when it comes to saying that the movie is good or bad, it’s good without Mahesh Babu; this movie is the worst. I have one more complaint about it: why didn’t you release it in Hindi?

Guntur Kaaram Story

After an accident at the age of ten, Vyra Vasundhara (Ramya Krishnan) abandoned her son, Veera Venkata Ramana (Mahesh Babu). Her father, Venkata Swamy (Prakash Raj), wants Ramana to sign documents stating he has no relationship with his mother, Vasundhara, to secure her easy victory in the next elections after she becomes a minister after 25 years. What happened, how Venkata Ramana handled the situation, if he signed the documents, what Vasundhara did, and whether or not they eventually got back together are all explained in the story as it develops. The last twist—the reason for leaving her son behind—is good.

There is too much potential for the story; it might be much more dramatic or more grounded, but the major issue with the movie I tell you an example that might be related to the North Indians: when we were children, we were waiting for South movies. when it comes to larger-than-life action, big dialogues, and some points in some movies they bit over. That formula was successful back then, and even now it might work, but at some point, we need more. that more is missing in this movie; just like I said, without Mahesh Babu Guntur Kaaram, it becomes trash.

My First Time Watching a Movie in Telugu Language Experience

mahesh babu

It’s amazing. The thing is, when I see the trailer for Guntur Kaaram, it’s good enough to bring me to the theater. But the point is, I am from Gujrat, and this movie is only released in the regional language. But I wanted to experience the Mahesh Babu movie for the first time in my life, so I bought the tickets, and this was the first time I watched a movie with subtitles in theaters. That was good. Yes, at some point or someplace I didn’t catch the moment, but overall I enjoyed it.

Whenever Mahesh Babu comes to action with the public as an audience, I also stand and blow the whistle. It’s far better than I thought.

Positives and negatives

Positives: The whole cast—Ramya Krishnan, Prakash Raj, and especially Mahesh Babu—did a great job and carried the movie on their shoulders. Fights and the music blended with the fight was good enough to enjoy. That twist was good too.

Negatives: Just like I said, there is nothing I need to add in the Negatives section just because there is nothing good except Mahesh Babu. and more things that might be considered good, as I already mentioned.

The final verdict on Guntur Kaaram

If you want to see masala movies just like an old South movie or if you are a big fan of Mahesh Babu, this movie is for you. But those two are not your best parts; this movie is not for you. That’s it. There are other good movies, like Hanu Man and Captain Miller, in theaters already. Go watch and enjoy.
